This Week in WX-November 1st 1997: Wind Storm

• A strong coastal storm developed and moved up into Connecticut
• Heavy rains, gusty winds and some tidal flooding were the result
• Sustained winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour, gusts up to 65
• Downed trees and power lines caused some power outages
• Many boats in the Groton area were damaged
