Well here we go, another week and a totally different season here in Connecticut. Last week we had Hurricane Sandy and this week a snow storm from a Nor’easter! I guess it’s true if you don’t like the weather in New England just wait a minute! This is the second early snowstorm two years in a row! Living along the coast in Milford, I was expecting a brief period of snow before changing to rain, well its 5 pm and it’s still snowing, in fact now that the sun as set the accumulation has picked up and the roads of become very slippery!

Before conditions deteriorated down here in Milford, I was able to get some great shots at the beach. With the help of instagram (which allows for filters to be placed on photos) I was able to make some of the colors stand out better. Sadly in some of the photos you can still see the damage from Hurricane Sandy last week, now covered in a pure white blanket of snow, as if it hadn’t even happened!

The first photo above is of Woodmont Beach in Milford at 11 am this morning when the snow first began to stick.
