Although the weather has not been too spring like here in southern Connecticut, spring is indeed just around the corner, so to say. If you are a gardener this is the time of year to really start getting into gear. If you plant your own tomatoe and pepper plants from seed you should have already done that. I have never had great luck growing tomatoes and peppers from seed but still do on occasion plant my own lettuce, herbs, peas, cucumbers and squash if they are on this year’s list. In this part 1 of a few I am going to show how I pre-start the seeds and plant them in purchased dome. In later articles I will show how I transplant them and hopefully harvest. So bear with me on this. It doesn’t always work out for me but I do hope to have a garden like last years shown above.
