Not Much Rain In This Forecast

A little rain in Western Connecticut earlier today and Southwest Connecticut too. This rain will be held off with mainly dry weather for Connecticut as high pressure builds down from the north. Another small round of rain could make it in across Western Connecticut again tonight. The high pressure center for later tomorrow and Wednesday looks very good for nice weather here locally through the coming weekend.

We are running a pretty serious rain/precipitation deficit. Current numbers for precipitation year to date are:

Shoreline: -4.31

Inland: -3.43

That is about a month’s worth of rain behind. The pollen count will stay very high this week too!
