Thursday May 2nd 2013 Forecast Discussion:
A wonderful day wraps up here in Connecticut, temperatures topped out in the low to mid 70’s inland and 60s at shore locations. A cool night on tap between 35-42 degrees with clear skies. Thursday will be mostly sunny for your morning to midday with mostly cloudy conditions developing for your evening. Highs will be similar to the readings today, inland 70s with shoreline 60s. A south wind will keep the shore a bit cooler, however, we will have a retrograding low pressure system off the Atlantic which will be pulling just enough instability to set off a shower or two overnight. A backdoor cold front will then pull our temperatures back a fee degrees for Friday with many locations staying in the 60s. Temperatures for your Thursday overnight will be 40-45 degrees under some clouds.
