Well we’ll be watch the radar as things get more active this afternoon. Not a lot of moisture in the atmosphere, so it’ll take a while for the rain to reach the ground today. I think by 1pm, we’ll see some light rain in Southwestern CT. Could take a handful of hours to get over to the east, but by 6pm, most of the state will be seeing some rain.
A little bit of instibility tonight could cause some thunder, but nothing severe. We’ll also see fog tonight with this rain, and warmer temps on the way!
Because of the increase in chances for sun, instability will be high, so any thunderstorms could be severe. I think if we see any, they will likely stay north and west of Connecticut.
Still looking very hot for the end of the week, but some instability will cause some afternoon clouds and the increased risk showers.
After that, the weekend looks mostly dry, with an increased chance of rain Sunday, and a front passed on Monday!
