Windsor Locks & Hartford usually the warmest spot but New Haven managed to get the top spot a couple times. When the coast is close to or hotter than the valley, you know the air mass was HOT. Also notice how long this past one lasted.
One memorable thing about this heat wave was the dewpoints being in the 70s which made it feel like upper 90s and 100s. Hartford (HFD) peaked at 107° heat index on the 19th!
However Only a few records were broken in CT.

A RECORD HIGH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 78 DEGREES WAS SET AT BRIDGEPORT CT JULY 18, 2013. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 75 DEGREES SET IN 2012
A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 95 DEGREES WAS SET AT BRIDGEPORT CT JULY 16, 2013. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 94 DEGREES SET IN 1983/1952.
