Watching today closely for some heavy rain possible. While severe weather is not impossible, the parameters for it aren’t great today. CAPE is low, but low level wind shear is high. What that means for us is that it could be tough for strong storms to develop, but if they do, they’ll likely maintain steam as they move across the area.
Urban/poor drainage flooding is the main concern with this rain, that will likely pick up after noon in Connecticut.
- Rain lingers into tomorrow morning, but ends quickly.
- Afternoon pop showers possible tomorrow.
- Weekend looks okay, should be dry during most of the daytime hours.
- Lower humidity to start next week!
