Coldest Morning in 4 months in CT

It was a very chilly across the area this morning. Many inland locations were down into the 30s! It was the coolest morning since May 15.

Here in Hamden, it was 39 at my station. A second gauge at ground level reached 37. I even noticed light frost on a nearby roof top, but nothing widespread!
Around  the state the some of the lowest temps were 35 in Sherman, while North haven (Clintonville) and Cheshire were 37. Colebrook was 35.
The coolest temps were in the northeast hills actually, with Willington at 33!
It’s hard to believe that a just 1 week ago my high temperature was 93 with a high heat index of 112, in Hamden. Anything can happen this time of year!
