What a pattern today! 5,000ft temperatures are +15c and that means some very warm temperatures this afternoon statewide. A westerly wind will drag the warmth right down to the Connecticut Shoreline.
Some interesting long range data keeps our temperature forecast above normal through 10-15-13. Humidity levels will be going up too, especially this weekend! I expect dewpoints to be in the middle 60s this weekend. A mid-Summer feel!
We need some rain. A “teaser” of light rain is expected late Friday & Friday Night. We may pick up some steadier rain early next week depending on the moisture from what could be “Karen”. Not as a tropical storm here, but from the leftover rain along the cold front coming through.
