Anne Craig joined the News 8 staff in September, 2011 as a reporter and anchor for Good Morning Connecticut. In January 2014 Anne began anchoring the 5 and 5:30pm and the 11pm news alongside Darren Kramer.
Craig comes to WTNH from Fox 5/WNYW in New York City, where she was an anchor/reporter. She’s also worked in Orlando, Florida, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and at Walt Disney World News as a reporter/producer for their national news feed.
After spending time on the weekend edition of Good Morning Connecticut, Anne was named co-anchor of the weekday broadcasts on Nov. 28, 2011.
A graduate of Miami University, Craig continued her journalism studies at Stanford University.
Since moving to CT, Anne has been active working with the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative through News 8’s “Pink Power” campaign to increase awareness about breast cancer awareness, advancements, treatment and research. She also volunteers with “Junior Achievement” teaching in local classrooms and with “Hope After Loss.”
She and her husband Chris have a little girl named Johanna, a toddler named Jett, and a dog named Henry.
