Missing man’s body found in Killingly park

KILLINGLY, Conn. (AP) — State police say a missing man has been found dead at a state park in Killingly.

Lt. J. Paul Vance of the state police told The Bulletin of Norwich that the man’s body was found Sunday afternoon at Old Furnace State Park. His name hasn’t been released.

Vance said troopers had been searching for the man and there doesn’t appear to be any criminal aspect to his death.

The body was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Farmington for an autopsy. Medical examiners will try to confirm the man’s identity and determine how he died.
