Children removed from drug-filled home

Middletown drug home

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Two children are in the hands of DCF tonight after police said they found them living in disgusting conditions and with drugs in the home

On Wednesday, January 27th, authorities executed a search warrant at a house on Loveland Street in Middletown over suspicion that there could be illegal drugs inside.

Once police entered the home, they found deplorable conditions including garbage all over the house and drugs in close proximity to children

In turn, three were arrested, 34-year-old Brandon Taylor, 28-year-old Rudolph McNeil, and 28-year-old Ashlee Jackson, the mother of the kids discovered inside. Each one now faces charges ranging from possession with intent to sell, to risk of injury to a child

A woman who says she is the aunt of these children talked about their mother, “… she’s a very nice person, she’s generous… he’ll (God) handle everything else.”

Jackson is out on a promise to appear, while Taylor and McNeil are being held on $75,000 bond.

All three will be back in court in mid-February
