Alexis Jordan, 22, charged in Darien home invasion

Darien, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in Darien have arrested two people in connection with a home invasion on Priscilla Lane. It all started with a call to 911 around 2:55 pm Thursday afternoon.   The caller said she confronted a female intruder in her home.   The 68-year-old victim, who was home alone, said the encounter happened in her bedroom.  Before running out the door, the victim also told police the intruder hit her on the head with a wooden box.  Not seriously injured, the victim was able to give police a description of the car she saw leaving her home.  Several minutes after the 911 call, officers spotted and pulled over a car on Hollow Tree Ridge Road that  fit the description given.  Police arrested the passenger, Alexis Jordan, 22, of Hamden and the driver, Micahael Apuzzo, 24, also of Hamden.  Police say Jordan was the woman who broke into the Priscilla Lane home and hit the homeowner.   Both Jordan and Apuzzo face a list of charges that include Home Invasion, Larceny and Possession of Burglary Tools.  Jordan is also charged with Assault on a person over sixty years of age.
