Closings & Cancellations Wednesday, Feb. 5th

WTNH– There has been several cancellations made already due to Wednesday’s snow storm.

Gov. Dannel Malloy has also ordered a delayed opening for non-essential state employees to report to work at 10 AM.

Gov. Dannel Malloy’s State of the State address has be postponed. It has been rescheduled for Thursday.

Hartford and Bridgeport have declared snow emergencies.

Several parking bans go into affect over night including for  Hartford, Meriden and Waterbury.

The DMV has cancelled all road tests for Wednesday before 1 PM.

UConn, Southern Connecticut State University, Northeastern, Connecticut College, Goodwin, and Tunxis Community College have all cancelled classes for Wednesday.

  • Bridgeport Public Schools
  • Stratford Public Schools
  • Branford Public Schools
  • Newtown Public Schools
  • West Haven Public Schools
  • Ridgefield Public Schools

  • Hamden Public Schools
  • Meriden Public Schools
  • Cheshire Public Schools
  • Wallingford Public Schools
  • Guilford Public Schools
  • Brookfield Public Schools

The Darien Library and CT Food Bank will be closed tomorrow due to the inclement weather.

Access Health CT’s New Haven and New Britain Enrollment Centers will be closed and the Norwalk Enrollment Fair is canceled.
