Higher gas prices expected

WTNH– There could be pain at the pump. We could be looking at $4.00 soon, maybe more. Triple A says it’s because of refinery maintenance.

It’s something that happens every year but it often causes sticker shock for drives.

Triple A says prices in Connecticut could hit $3.85 to $4.05 a gallon come spring.

The national average price for gas is $3.27. In Connecticut, it’s $3.63 which is down about 8 cents from one month ago.
