HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– The City of Hartford’s Mounted Patrol is here to stay after the community raises money to keep the three-man patrol around.

Budget cut backs threatened the patrol’s existence but several dowtown businesses pitched in to keep them around.

Mayor Pedro Segarra says the plans for the patrol in the next fiscal year are yet to be determined.
