UPDATED: The two children have been found, and the Amber Alert has been canceled.
LANCASTER, Pa. (AP/WTNH) — Authorities in Pennsylvania who issued an Amber Alert for two young children reportedly taken from a central Pennsylvania home say the abductors may be returning to the commonwealth from neighboring New Jersey.
State police said 3-year-old Erielys Ahorrio and 4-year-old John Ahorrio were taken at gunpoint from a Lancaster home by two men at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday following an alteration.
One of the suspected abductors is identified as Eddie Ahorrio, the father of the children. The other is the grandfather, also named Eddie Ahorrio.
Police said the abductors fled in a black Nissan Altima with Pennsylvania license JJG-8170.
Officials earlier said they may be traveling to Massachusetts but said later Friday morning that “it is believed they are travelling back into Pennsylvania from New Jersey.”
