BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — A man accused of stabbing a teenager to death at a house party in Bristol is set to be arraigned in court on a murder charge.
Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Daniels is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Monday. He’s charged with killing 19-year-old Joseph Klett on Jan. 25.
Witnesses told police that Klett and the man who stabbed him got into an argument and the suspect told Klett to stop staring at him. Officials say Klett died from multiple stab wounds at a local hospital.
Authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Daniels, who was detained the next day after a motor vehicle stop by police in High Point, N.C.
Daniels is being held in $1 million bail. It’s not clear if he has a lawyer.
