Voice of the People: Feb. 12, 2014

WTNH– Mayor Toni Harp is looking to put a tax on soda state wide and many of you are sounding off about that issue. And of course lots of you are talking about this winter weather we are about to get that’s a few of the topics in tonight’s voice of the people.

“Yeah I’m calling about our mayor worrying about soda tax. I said she should have a look at my electric bill. When are you people going to start worrying about electric bills that are outrageous that I can’t afford,” said Fred, from New Haven.

“I’d just like to comment on the snow storms every week  It’s just like you clear away one storm, then another one and another one, after a while you get the cabin fever. I think it’s just to the point now i think its time to move to Florida,” said Laura, from Rocky Hill.

“I just wanna say if this is global warming, I’ve had enough of it. Have a good day,” said Gil from Meriden.

“This is just an old fashion winter like we used to have every year. Roundabout February you get cabin fever and it just means that you enjoy spring all that much more so I advise people to, sit back, be smart. Be safe. Enjoy the hot cocoa, and spring is on the way,” said Kevin from Norwich .
