North Haven man arrested for sexually assaulting minor

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A 56-year-old North Haven man was arrested on Thursday for reportedly sexually assaulting a minor.

In September 2013, the Connecticut Department of Child and Families contacted investigators about a reported sexual assault of a minor.

After speaking with the victim about the ongoing misconduct, police visited the North Haven home of 56-year-old Raymond Ramsey to take physical evidence.

Ramsey’s arrest warrant was issued after completing an investigation that included DNA analysis. He was taken into custody on Thursday, February 20th and is being held on a $200,000 bond.

He will be appear in Meriden Superior Court on charges of sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
