Partial roof collapse at vacant building in West Haven, Feb. 19, 2014.

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A section of Water Street in West Haven remains closed this morning after a partial roof collapse.

The street closed last night after the roof of a business partially collapsed from the weight of too much snow.

Part of the abandoned Fish and Tackle shop on Water Street came down just after 6 p.m.

Firefighters monitored the building for awhile to make sure there wasn’t an entire collapse. No injuries were reported.
