Clinton drug bust ends in three arrests

CLINTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Two men and one woman were arrested on Thursday afternoon for illegal possession of more than 250 prescription pills.

Police arrested Anthony Ames, 34, Audrey Way, 31 and Zachary Marquis, 26 on various drug charges including possession of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and intent to sell.

Clinton police seized $200 cash and 267 prescription pills that included narcotics and controlled substances following an ongoing investigation into their activities.

The pills were identified as Oxycodone, Clonazepam, and Xanax.
