GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) – A drug deal involving teenagers in Glastonbury lead police back to their suspected suppliers, police said.
On February 4, the Glastonbury Police Youth Unit learned of a deal involving 4 teenagers, 3 boys and a girl. After arresting the teens, police says one of the boys told them he got the marijuana from a man in Portland. Based on the information given, police believe the man was supplying large amounts of marijuana to Glastonbury High School students.
Glastonbury police turned the information over to the East Central Narcotics Task Force and The Portland Police Department. Using the information, Task Force members and police got and executed a search warrant for a home at 10 East Main Street in Portland. Inside they found over a pound of pot, $2,700 in cash and various drug paraphernalia.
They also arrested three people, Georgios Sirigos, 20, Brooke Vigneri, 23 and David Short, 31.
All three face a variety of charges including possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia.
