MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — MTA and Milford police are on the scene of a collision between a car and a Metro-North train. No injuries are reported.

According to the MTA, the 12:08 train out of Waterbury struck a vehicle at the Oronoque Rd Crossing in Milford.

The MTA says there are no injuries to the 75 to 80 passengers on the train or to anyone in the vehicle.

Bus service was provided for passengers on the 1:41 p.m. train from Bridgeport, and the 2:53 p.m. train from Waterbury.

There are gates at the crossing, which is just to the west of the Housatonic River, and they were working, the MTA said.
