Newington man busted for dealing drugs

NEWINGTON, Conn. (WNTH) — Police arrested a Newington man suspected for drug dealing after pulling him over for a missing license plate on Thursday.

On February 20th, police followed through on an anonymous tip of suspected drug dealing by a Newington resident.

Police arrested Dariusz Dubaj, 40 after pulling him over for a missing front license plate and later finding narcotics and controlled substances in his vehicle.

Dubaj admitted to possessing such drugs and police discovered $1,151.00 cash, a large knife, 60 bags of heroin, 4 baggies of cocaine, 31 generic Xanax pills and more in his vehicle.

He was taken into custody and charged on several counts including possession of narcotics, controlled substances, and a weapon in a motor vehicle.

He was released on a $10,000.00 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at New Britain Superior Court.
