Signing up for health care in Conn.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — If you don’t have health insurance, you might be thinking about a looming deadline at the end of March. That’s the last day to sign up for the Affordable Care Act.

Access Health CT and other agencies are doing one last push trying to get folks to make that deadline.

Later this morning organizers will head to New London County, that’s because they say New London and Norwich have the highest rate of uninsured residents. In all, they’re going to 14 urban areas in the state to talk to folks about why they believe they need to sign up.

On Good Morning Connecticut, we spoke with Maritza Bond, executive director of Eastern Area Health Education Center, about the enrollment process and what it could do for your family. Watch the clip above.
