Woman arrested for biting elderly mother


GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH)– A 30-year-old Glastonbury woman was arrested twice Friday night, after biting her elderly mother.

Police say just after 8 PM, they responded to a domestic dispute at 174 Main Street. It was then revealed that Amanda Sywak had bit her 62-year-old mother on her left hand during the dispute.

Sywak was arrested earlier in the night for a DUI and was released from custody before fighting with her mother at her home.

Sywak was charged with assault on an elderly person and disorderly conduct.
