VIDEO: NASA talks about new weather program

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — NASA will launch the first elements of its new Global Precipitation Measurement system into orbit today. It will measure rain and snow worldwide every three hours, NASA says.

On Good Morning Connecticut Thursday, we spoke with  NASA scientist Dr. Michelle Thaller about the program.
