Voice of the People: Feb. 27, 2014

WTNH– Earlier this week News 8 showed you a picture of a baby holding a gun and this sparked a lot of controversy. Many of you think it’s wrong, while a lot of you say it’s no big deal. Here’s tonight’s Voice of the People.

“I think that was so wrong. I think that gave a wrong message. After all these children that died in the Sandy Hook shooting, it just brought back memories and I don’t think it was very pleasant for someone to take a picture like that. What’s wrong with this father?” said Anna, Milford.

“I don’t have any problem with it. It looked to be done very safely,” said Tom, Cheshire.

“This is not just a picture, let us not forget that a picture says a thousand words. What message is this picture sending in a world where innocent people are being killed by guns in the hands of wrong people?” said Anne, Milford.

“I find absolutely nothing wrong with it. It’s too young to even pull the trigger in the first place. I have pictures of my children like that when they were that age,” said Ralph, Canterbury.

“Have we lost our minds? Really? A little infant with that big gun in front of it. After all the children being killed with guns, it’s ridiculous,” said Richard, New Haven.
