New Study Abroad Program

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The University of New Haven is the first college in our state to join Generation Study Abroad.

This initiative aims to double the amount of American students studying abroad by the end of the decade.

More than 150 colleges across the country have made the commitment to Generation Study Abroad, which launched today in New York.

During the 2011-2012 year, 137 students at UNH participated in semester-long and short-term study abroad programs.

They hope that by 2024 they can increase that number to 275.
