MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A Bridgeport woman was arrested Saturday after she left her gun inside the bathroom of a Milford Red Robin restaurant.

Police say they received a complaint around 6:30 PM, regarding a firearm found by a Red Robin employee inside the restroom at 1201 Boston Post Road.

The employee immediately reported it to police who took custody of the firearm and contacted the registered owner, 56-year-old Linda Hawkins.

After determining she had left it there, Hawkins was charged with reckless endangerment.

She will appear in court March 25th.
