Teen girl arrested for threats against schools

TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)– An 18-year-old Torrington girl was arrested Tuesday after making verbal threats of violence at  Danbury and Stratford schools.

Police say Natalie A. Carpenter was arrested at 2  PM for conspiracy to commit assault and criminal attempt to commit assault.

No threats were made concerning Torrington schools.

Carpenter was held on $300,000 bond.

The incident is still under investigation.
