(WTNH) — In honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month, Harold Schwartz, M.D., and John Aversa Jr., M.D., discuss the importance of screening colonoscopy.
Dr. Schwartz is a board-certified, fellowship trained Gastroenterologist who is on the Faculty of Yale School of Medicine. He is chief of Gastroenterology at Griffin Hospital.
Griffin Hospital’s Digestive Disorder Center performs more than 3,200 procedures each year. It is staffed by an award-winning team of Nurses and board-certified, fellowship trained Gastroenterologists and Colorectal Surgeons, including Dr. Aversa.
