Police try to ID voice of gas station robber

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Milford police hope someone can recognize the voice of a masked man who robbed a Gulf station on Naugatuck Ave. at gunpoint last month.

The robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Friendly Service Station on Naugatuck Avenue.

The robber walked into the store wearing a black knit face mask and carrying a handgun. He took money from the clerk and a customer, and drove off in what police say was an older style dark colored hatchback.

Police say the man they are trying to find has a very distinct voice, so they released a video (posted above) in which you can hear the man order the clerk to give him money, and get on the ground.
