Heroin Bust in Bristol

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) – The Bristol Police Narcotics Enforcement Team has made an arrest after it received information that a clerk at Jeff Mini Mart was selling heroin.

Police arrested 33-year-old Angel Nunez of Hartford who was currently on probation for previous narcotics violations.

After a search of the store located at 568 Jerome Avenue, police say they found 330 bags of heroin, with an estimated street value of up to $3,300.  Nunez was charged with illegal possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

The Connecticut Department of Revenue was also investigating the store for illegal sale of cigarettes.
