South Windsor man arrested while in court on other charges

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) —   South Windsor police arrested 33-year-old Jeremy Broad for reportedly stealing a resident’s checkbook and checks.

Broad was arrested last Friday, while already appearing in Manchester Superior Court on unrelated charges.

Police say Broad stole the checkbook in October 2013, and was cashing the checks using fake identification.

Broad was charged on multiple counts including conspiracy to commit identify theft and forgery. He is being held on a $45,000.00  bond.
