Norwich man arrested with 200 bags of heroin

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)– A Norwich man was arrested with 200 bags of heroin during a motor vehicle stop Saturday.

Police say Jose Rivera, 42, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell after he was pulled over by police in the downtown section of Norwich.

Police seized over 200 bags of heroin and cash.

Rivera was held and released on $10,000 bond and will appear in court April 4th.
