Student hospitalized in Bolton bus crash


BOLTON, Conn. (WTNH)– A student was taken to the hospital after a car hit a school bus in Bolton, Monday.

Police say a Toyota Camry was traveling on Rt. 6/44 east when it approached the intersection of Rt. 85 and went through a red light. The Camry, driven by Kimberly Lechasseur, 32, of Manchester, then struck a school bus which had a green light.

Seventeen-year-old Amanda Nadeau, of Vernon, was on the bus and taken to Manchester Hospital with a possible injury.

The driver of the school bus, Michael Gagne, 50, of Manchester nor Lechasseur were injured.
