HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A truck stuck at the bottom of a vacant hotel closed a street in Hartford, Monday.

The 13′ 8″ truck was stuck at the bottom of the old Clarion Hotel after attempting to go under the building that is marked 13′ high.

Kinsley Street runs below the building and was closed to traffic but has since been reopened.

The truck pushed in a 3 foot section of concrete and reinforced steels bars.  A construction company that was renovating the hotel and making it into apartments cut out that section to make it safe.

The road was reopened after an inspection.
