Hartford police investigate shooting

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Hartford police are investigating a shooting that left a 46-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, Thursday.

Police say the victim was found at 30 Hughes Street where he was suffering from gun shot wounds to the chest, knee, and hip.

The victim is undergoing surgery at Hartford Hospital and his injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

While police say the victim was uncooperative, he did report being shot while at his home. Police did not find evidence at that location.

There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

Police say shots were fired on Webster Street around the same time and that may be the actual location of the incident. However that has not been proven yet.

The incident is under investigation.
