VIDEO: UConn fans cheer on train en route to game

NEW YORK (AP/WTNH) — Seventh-seed Connecticut will be going for another upset tonight when they meet Iowa State tonight in Madison Square Garden in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA men’s basketball championship tournament.

The Huskies have already bounced second-seed Villanova and hope to knock off the Cyclones, who are the third-seed in the region.

Star guard Shabazz Napier will take the main assignment guard Iowa State’s DeAndre Kane, whose game-winner helped the Cyclones eke by North Carolina.

The game begins just after 7:30 tonight.

Metro-North is providing a special train for UConn fans to travel to Madison Square Garden for the game.
