Police catch ‘serial burglar’

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) –Police in Norwalk have arrested a ‘serial burglar’ who has been targeting homes in the area.

Miguel Palencia’s arrest is in connection to a  burglary that happened in New Canaan back in 2011.  when he stole more than $20,000 worth of electronics and jewelry.

Palencia was also arrested last month for a separate burglary in November 2011.

Police believe Palencia is connected with many more burglaries. He is being held on $75,000 bond.
