Woodstock Academy lockdown lifted after bullets found on bus

UPDATE:  The lockdown has been lifted.  Woodstock Academy says they have completed their investigation and determined no students were involved.

WOODSTOCK, Conn. (WTNH)– Woodstock Academy is in lockdown after live ammunition was found on a school bus this morning.

The school says they were notified by the M&J Bus Company that live ammunition was found on the town school bus that carries both Woodstock Academy and town students.

Woodstock Academy went into lockdown as a precaution.

An investigation and search of students involved has begun.

The school does not believe anyone is in any imminent danger.
