HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — There promises to be a lot of blue in Downtown Hartford on Sunday as the state honors the dual NCAA champion UConn Huskies basketball teams.

A parade will wind through the streets at 4 p.m., beginning and ending at the State Capitol. After the parade there will be a rally on the north steps of the Capitol building.

“I’m looking forward to joining thousands of Husky fans in Hartford on Sunday to let the both teams and Coaches Auriemma and Ollie know how proud we are of their success this season,” Gov. Dannel Malloy said in a statement.

Here’s the route:

  • State Capitol
  • North on Trinity Street
  • Right on Jewell Street
  • Left at Gold Street
  • Right onto Main Street
  • Right onto Capitol Avenue
  • Return to State Capitol

Private donations will pay for the parade.
