BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bridgeport teenager has been arrested for a series of threats that led to three “lock-ins” this week at Central High School.
On three consecutive days this week, the threats were discovered written on the wall of a bathroom stall, with the most recent one discovered Friday morning.
In each instance, students were put on a lock-in, meaning they stayed in their classrooms while police investigated the threat. The lock-in Friday lasted about an hour.
“Police reviewed video footage of the area of the school and spoke to a juvenile, who admitted to all three cases of graffiti,” Bridgeport police spokesman Bill Kaempffer said.
No other details about the arrest, including what charges the un-named teen will face, were available.
