NORWALK, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut woman has pleaded not guilty to allegations she sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy while she was a youth group leader at a New Canaan church.
Hearst Connecticut Media reports that 25-year-old Morgan Frawley of Fairfield pleaded not guilty to second-degree sexual assault Thursday in Norwalk Superior Court.
Police say they believe Frawley had a sexual relationship with the boy when she was a youth group leader at the Congregational Church of New Canaan, which suspended her last year. Authorities say Frawley and the boy also exchanged sexually explicit photos and text messages.
Police say Frawley also was fired as a substitute teacher at Tomlinson Middle School in Fairfield because of the allegations.
Frawley remains free on $5,000 bail and is set to return to court April 29.
