(WTNH) – Meteorologists at Colorado State University are predicting a quiet hurricane season this year. They are forecasting nine tropical storms will form, but only three will become hurricanes. However as GMCT’s Stephanie Simoni and Storm Team 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons explains, if past years are any indication, the current predictions may be understated.
