Man shot in head in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–A Hartford man has been taken to the hospital after being shot in the head on Monday night following an exchange of gunfire, according to police.

Police said the victim was expected to live. Deputy police chief Brian Foley said that two cars were shooting at each other.

The victim, 28, was conscious and talking on his way to St. Francis Hospital.

Police described his condition as “guarded.”
