Procession held to honor canonization of popes

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– On Sunday there was a procession through the streets of New Haven to honor the canonization of Pope John the XXIII and Pope John Paul II.

“This relic is actually the property of the Pope John Paul II national shrine in Washington, D.C. and it’s on loan to us today for this reason,” said Peter Sonski, Knights of Columbus Museum.
